Pajaro Valley FPD Fire Station HDQ

| Watsonville, California
Details [+]

This 6,000 SF headquarters facility was designed as a replacement for the existing single engine company station.  The new facility features four apparatus bays, a large conference room and office space for the Battillion Chief and Fire Marshall.  Because the Pajaro Valley FPD provides wildlife response for South Santa Cruz County, the Apparatus Bay was designed to accomodate Class III Engines and a single-chassis Water Tender.  The new station was designed to fit into the rural surroundings.

Awarded Fire Chief Magazine's Notable Design Award.
