Renovation of DeSoto's Senior Center included completely demolishing the interior to make way for a combination of both new and old programmatic components. An open corridor links all interior spaces to a new public reception area as well as an adjacent social living room. Within the community space, natural light is controlled by a northern clerestory, while large expanses of glass frame views of the covered porch and landscaped grounds.
