The University of Dallas' thirty-six 1970s modular units were completely renovated with new interior and exterior finishes. The existing central plaza was enlarged to accommodate a variety of student activities, and brick pavers were added for a cleaner, and more level surface. Existing trees were accented with new edging and extensive plantings were added throughout to further enhance the natural beauty of the site. Small groupings of crepe myrtle trees now line the entrance drive, as well as provide a sense of entry to the plaza. Due to the steep contours of the site, a series of stone retaining walls and stepped terraces were also added. The addition of a new bridge and breezeway provides easier circulation from the central plaza to two of the clusters.
