The goal for Dallas' new station was to replace an existing station with a durable, cost effective, LEED™ Silver certified building that would convey civic pride within the community. The traditional red brick and modern yellow columns effectively link the neighborhood's past with the present. Attention to scale, materials, and site orientation, give the facility a sense of home for the firefighters, while simultaneously working as a public safety building for the community.
