The Cedar Hill / Grand Prairie Fire Station is designed to be traditional yet sympathetic to the surrounding residential architecture. The station is nestled within a heavily wooded lot. The hilly topography of the area required careful site design to accommodate the fire apparatus and circulation. Other considerations included future street expansion, expansive soils, and sensitivity to nearby homes.
