The unique Hill Country lodge, built as a supplementary entertainment space and modeled after a stylized Central Texas vernacular, is phase one of a four-phase project which includes remodeling the existing house into a guest house / casita / laundry / porch addition, constructing new quarters for the owners and a carport with second floor studio / office. The great hall is large enough to host a party, yet cozy enough for a couple's weekend retreat. Designed to fully open to the natural surroundings, the structure features indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces and fireplaces, a gourmet kitchen, and a study / sleeping loft.
