This historic City Hall Master Plan space reallocation and improvement project was comprised of eight Departments with 190 employees in seven buildings totaling 32,000 square feet of useable space. Services included the campus master planning, ADA access and facility improvements, seismic and exterior shell repairs, space planning, interior design, furniture consultant coordination and technology upgrades.
The renovation of this project included seismic retrofit, exterior rehabilitation and interior remodel of an existing 12,800 square foot historic building for the City of Santa Cruz. The building is the original City Hall constructed in 1929 and now serves the City Manager, City Council and City Clerk and Finance Departments. Interior space remodels included a public lobby, conference rooms, private offices, open workstations and a data center.
