The New Education Complex at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is being designed as a statement piece for the campus that will engage students, faculty and visitor interest. The new building will include rehearsal spaces for concert band, choral, jazz and orchestra, faculty offices, storage facilities, student practice rooms, lecture halls, labs, a new recording studio, conference rooms and additional collaborative spaces for student engagement.
Additionally, a state-of-the-art performance hall will seat up to 500 people, the lobby will be designed as a social gathering space and key feature to visually enhance the campus. At the heart of the building, the performance hall will demonstrate the Music department’s contribution of programs and opportunities to students and visitors on the campus. The New Education Complex will serve as a campus beacon; a social connector for students, faculty and visitors to collaborate with one another and feel at home.
