Originally constructed as a small lecture hall in a late 1950’s addition to the existing Chemistry Building, Classroom 255 was one of three remaining small lecture halls that had yet to be renovated. Characterized by a sloping floor, unusually low structure height, and outdated furnishings and lighting, BRW renovated the space to meet the current needs of the Department. The project provided new tiered seating with fixed tables, new lighting and lighting controls, new audio/visual systems, as well as a demonstration table and snorkel fume hood.

BRW, following the construction of the new Liberal Arts and Humanities Building on the Texas A&M University campus, worked with the campus’s facilities and maintenance division (SSC) to renovate and upgrade various classroom types in multiple buildings to include current teaching AV/IT technologies, flexible LED lighting options and furnishing selections to accommodate teaching techniques an pedogogies.
