UFSA Fire Station No. 253
UFSA Fire Station 253 in Eagle Mountain, Utah, reflects a forward-thinking approach to public safety in a rapidly growing community. BRW Architects worked closely with Unified Fire Service Area to create a station that not only meets current operational needs but also supports future growth. The project emerged from a unique land-swap agreement with the city, resulting in a facility that connects directly to a neighboring public park and offers a dedicated community and training room for civic engagement.
BRW’s design adapts a proven prototype layout, then tailors exterior materials and amenities to fit the local context and community priorities. The station’s location—adjacent to a park, residential neighborhood, and middle school—called for careful attention to public access, security, and operational efficiency. Creative solutions, such as the addition of flexible community spaces and a health-focused environment, help the station serve as both a vital emergency response hub and a welcoming resource for Eagle Mountain residents.
The transformation brought by Fire Station 253 goes beyond new construction. BRW Architects delivered a facility that strengthens the city’s emergency response capabilities, encourages community interaction, and stands ready to support Eagle Mountain’s continued growth and resilience.
