Dallas Studio

Project Architect

Location: Dallas Office

Seven (7) to twelve (12) years of office experience.

BRW Dallas has an immediate need for a Project Architect with 7 to 12 years of office experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Masters’ in Architecture from an accredited program
  • 7 to 12 year’s previous experience leading institutional | municipal projects of various scales and budgets
  • Ability to lead and mentor team of AIT’s and Project Coordinators
  • Quality communication and leadership skills
  • Understanding of client deliverables including drawings and specifications
  • Passion for Quality Control
  • Comfortable and confident in managing multiple projects
  • Strong leadership skills and goals
  • Proficient in AutoCAD | Revit Autodesk Architecture
  • Additional skills: SketchUp | Adobe Creative Suite | Outlook | MS Office Suite | Etc.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, ability to achieve goals and deadlines


Highlighted Daily Task of the Position:

  • Manage a studio team to provide detailed documentation for active projects
  • Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
  • Identify client’s needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
  • Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage, and environmental impact
  • Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections
  • Compile project specifications
  • Maintain projects within budgets and timelines
  • Ensure that all projects are carried out to BRW standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
  • Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to younger, developing staff

Administrative Assistant 1

Location: Houston Office

Five (5)+ years of experience in a fast-paced office environment; professional services a plus.

BRW Houston has an immediate need for an Office Administrator with 5+ years of office experience. This unique position will be responsible for daily administrative tasks, office organization, and business development research.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5)+ years of experience in a fast-paced office environment; professional services a plus
  • Demonstrated professionalism through positive collaboration with staff and clients
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and dedication to completing projects with strict deadlines
  • Quality written and verbal communication skills; ability to carefully proofread and edit documents

  • Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple line phone system for incoming and internal calls

Responsibilities:

Location: San Francisco Office

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration: Reception & Administrative Tasks

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred); marketing is a bonus
  • 4 to 10 years previous experience coordinating daily office administrative tasks
  • Ability to coordinate with key staff members; good people skills
  • Strong graphic and writing skills a positive
  • Experience with phone management & etiquette

  • Coordinate meeting opportunities w/ Principal
  • Submit bi-weekly meeting opportunity in Municipal, K12, University, other markets
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing staff
  • Submit options for RFQ’s for weekly marketing meeting
  • Network w/ consultant BD staff
