Richardson Public Safety Campus

The City of Richardson has grown rapidly over the years and with the addition of new, large corporate development comes major change. More residents and businesses call for a greater, more efficient public safety system and the Richardson Public Safety Campus is the answer.BRW has worked with the City to develop a cluster of buildings that meet the need and break new ground in public safety facility design. This eleven-acre campus includes a Fire Station, Police Department, and a 911 | Dispatch. The new grounds tie a common thread among departments that already work together daily. Rather than spread out across the city, this new campus of dedicated buildings will increase response time, encourage communication, and provide a welcoming environment for city staff and first responders.

Designed in tandem with a revitalization effort on Main Street, the Richardson Public Safety Campus has been created to provide security while placing an emphasis on community involvement. A large entry plaza and open green space along the Main Street corridor welcomes the public and interactive artwork encourages involvement.
