Texas A&M Commerce Music Building

The new 69,500 SF Music Building at the Texas A&M University Commerce is designed to respond to the rapidly growing needs of the University’s music program. The original music facility was built to accommodate 60 music majors and was housing more than double that amount. As projections for music majors grow, the University chose to build a state-of-the-art music facility that has the education and performance facilities to satisfy current and future needs.

Sited at the campus main entrance, the Music Building is designed to reflect the aesthetic and materials of musical instruments, while acting as a gateway to the entire campus. The brick, stone, and wood panels of the exterior, and patterned glass carry through to the interior for a unified integration of materials.
