Carmen enjoys Jayhawk Basketball, traveling with family, and all things True Crime. Her favorite city is Paris, France where she lived and worked at Studio Odile Decq Architecture as part of Study Abroad.

Carmen has 15 years of experience in a variety of building types including Retail, acoustic and lighting design for Worship Facilities and Performance Spaces, Full-Service Coffee Bar and Café design and infrastructure, and Higher Education. She enjoys working with clients to provide solutions to address their specific needs and help them to achieve or surpass their goals for their projects. She is a big picture strategist and believes in taking a proactive approach to project management to facilitate an efficient and successful outcome for all parties involved in her projects.
Carmen also has a passion for professional development, both personally and for her colleagues. In addition to initiating, creating, and leading a biweekly Bluebeam PDF Revu training series for all BRW offices, she is a frequent presenter of a variety of topics for BRW University. Additionally, she is a member of the BRW Technical Practice and Lighting Practice Teams.
