Alan Wahlers is an Associate in BRW’s Dallas Federal studio where his duties include analysis of existing United States Postal Service facilities, design, and construction administration of renovated and new USPS facilities. While performing the primary goal of monitoring a project during construction to ensure that it is being constructed in accordance with the project drawings and specifications, Alan also enjoys interacting with USPS Personnel, Contractors, and Consultants. Alan has a strong knowledge and architectural background based on 41 years as a registered architect which include residential, multi-family, commercial, retail, industrial, educational, religious. civic, and military projects

Alan has a commercial pilot certificate and is also a former FAA Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor. Currently he holds a Remote Pilot certificate for small unmanned aerial vehicles. He finds that he often encounters situations where knowledge from one profession inter-relates with the other. The USPS is a huge entity which has been, and still is, in the process of developing and redefining their delivery materials, systems, methods and facilities. It is a true honor and pleasure to play a part in supporting USPS goals.
