Grand Prairie Emergency Operations Center (EOC)

The Grand Prairie Emergency Operations Center (EOC) stands as a vital addition to the city’s public safety infrastructure, thoughtfully designed by BRW Architects. As Grand Prairie experienced significant growth, the need for a dedicated space to coordinate emergency response became clear. BRW responded with a vision that not only addressed operational requirements but also created a flexible, resilient environment for both daily use and critical events.

BRW worked closely with city leaders and first responders to understand the community’s evolving needs. The resulting EOC, located alongside Fire Station #3, forms the heart of a new public safety campus. Creative design solutions—such as adaptable training spaces and the integration of natural daylight—support staff well-being and readiness, while the building’s robust construction allows it to serve as a shelter during challenging situations.

This project represents more than just a new facility; it is a symbol of Grand Prairie’s commitment to safety and preparedness. BRW’s sincere approach and collaborative spirit helped transform the site into a resource that empowers emergency personnel and strengthens the community for years to come.
