Royse City Police Department
Royse City’s rapid growth called for a police department that could keep pace with the community’s evolving needs. BRW responded by designing a state-of-the-art facility on Highway 66, creating a welcoming and secure environment for both officers and residents. The new building, spanning 28,000 square feet, brings together modern law enforcement functions under one roof, supporting 45 officers, support staff, and 15 administrative personnel.
BRW worked closely with the city to ensure the design would serve the community for years to come. The facility integrates spaces for police administration, investigations, and public engagement, while also providing a multi-purpose room, crime lab, and a tornado-rated storm shelter. Creative solutions, such as dedicated support buildings for staff fitness and outdoor gathering, reflect a holistic approach to wellness and operational efficiency.
The Royse City Police Department now stands as a vital resource and a point of pride for the city. The thoughtful design not only enhances public safety but also strengthens the connection between law enforcement and the community, supporting Royse City’s continued growth and well-being.
